ASREC Grain Dryer System

August 1999

During the summer of 1999, a new Grain Dryer system was donated to the Animal Sciences Research and Education Center.

Mathews Company donated the Model 975 High Capacity Grain Dryer.

Chore Time Brock supplied the "Brock" grain wet holding bins (bins were supplied at a considerable discount to the University).

Ripco, Ltd. installed the equipment, erected the electrical control building, installed all electrical equipment, and supplied the pneumatic system and grain auger.

On August 26, 1999, people from these companies toured the campus, then met at ASREC to look over the new installation. There was an informal dedication of the new equipment. Here are some photos of the people and the equipment.
