Rebecca L. Krisher became a member of the department as an Assistant Professor in October 1999. Her research interests focus on growth and development.

Donald C. Lay, Research Leader for the USDA-ARS Livestock Behavior Research Unit, joined the department as an Adjunct Assistant Professor in December 2000.

Michael E. Spurlock joined the department as an Assistant Professor in October 1999. His primary research interests involve growth and development.

T. Scott Radcliffe joined the department as an Assistant Professor in September 2001. His area of focus is swine nutrition.
