We have built customer relationships in China and now we need people to help them (Chinese) learn our protocols in production, as well as human resources, financials and business operations. Pipestone is looking to hire 3 - 4 new graduates – either a BS or MS who have a desire to work as a liaison between Pipestone and new ag developments in China. They will train you in all the methods and procedures for Pipestone, then you would provide that training and technical service in China. Position: Kennel Attendant
Klondike Kennels, a full service boarding and grooming facility, is hiring for the position of Kennel Attendant. Kennel Attendants are responsible for the proper husbandry care of all of our boarding animals; including both cats and dogs. Duties include feeding, bathing, record keeping, and cleanliness of cages and runs.

Training/Skill: Animal care background desired.

Requirements: Must be able to work outdoors in most weather conditions and be able to walk dogs greater than 50 lbs, handling a variety of breeds and sizes, and availability to work early morning, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Hours Available: Monday through Friday 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., and 3:00-6:00 p.m. with some weekends and holidays.

3. Internship at Murphy-Brown LLC

Fall Research Internship Program

Sponsored by: Chr. Hansen Animal Health & Nutrition

Murphy-Brown, LLC is offering a swine research project management program for Animal Science undergraduate or recently graduated students interested in applied swine research. The objective of this program is to accomplish mutual research objectives between Chr. Hansen and Murphy-Brown, LLC. The successful candidate will be an integral part of the research data collection and participate in all on-going research projects at Murphy-Brown.

Location: Rose Hill, NC

Application materials due: Friday, August 31, 2012

Start date: September 2012

End date: December 2012/January 2013

To Apply: Please submit a resume, cover letter, and 3 references. The cover letter must include the following information: previous swine experience, previous research experience, and career goals.

Applicants encouraged to have: Animal handling experience, independent problem solving skills, organizational skills, experience with Microsoft Office

Applicants must have: Valid driver's license, dependable transportation

Student responsibilities: The student will be responsible for assisting with time tables, activities, and data collection for all on-going research projects at Murphy-Brown. This will involve spending time on a Murphy-Brown wean-to-finish research farm, in the feed mill, at the quality assurance lab, and also on commercial farms. The student will be exposed to other aspects of Murphy Brown, LLC, including the packing plant, veterinary medicine, and swine production operations. At the end of the program the student will be required to give a presentation to Murphy Brown and Chr. Hansen.

Sponsorship: Sponsorship, an hourly stipend, will be provided by Chr. Hansen. Housing will be provided by Murphy-Brown and will be located in Warsaw, NC.
