This career begins with participation in the Ascend Leadership Training Program where participants are able to rotate through several departments of JBS and get exposure to many different aspects of the business. In addition to the Ascend rotation, ALTs participate in coursework intended to deepen their understanding of the business, broaden their appreciation of various leadership styles, and enable them to flex their new leadership skills. ALTs also take part in offsite meetings, community involvement, and cross-departmental group projects. Successfully graduating ALTs are placed in promotion-focused careers within JBS; this position is in the Department of Procurement.

Tuskegee University will serve as a Research Experience for Undergraduates site this summer with a program in Integrative Biosciences. This National Science Foundation- supported program provides undergraduates with a great opportunity to perform independent research under the guidance of a faculty mentor in a variety of life and natural science fields, including biology, chemistry, animal science, plant science, soils sciences, environmental sciences, and more- all with an emphasis on Bioinformatics!

Would you like to learn what is involved in the treatment of free, natural bees and about the use and management of top bar bee hives? A family farm in rural Jamaica is offering a great internship opportunity and would love to help you fully experience life in Jamaica. The Walt Disney World Agricultural Sciences team is looking for interns to participate in a fun and challenging hands-on internship in several different agricultural and science education fields.
Duration: 6 months (June 2013- January 2014)

Gain real field experience as an undergraduate by traveling with the Fort Worth Zoo to help the critically endangered Anegada iguana!
When: Session 1: May 19- 27, 2013

Where: Anegada, British Virgin Islands (BVI)
Cost: $1,375 for one session (1 night on Tortola, BVI, 1 round-trip ferry ticket from Tortola to Anegada, 7 nights on Anegada, meals on Anegada, field supplies, transportation on Anegada, and all routine expenses)
