Job Description: This is an entry level position in Clinical Andrology that will entail performing screening Semen Analysis and Sperm preparation for InVitro Fertilization. It will also require knowledge and practice of various laboratory techniques and practices of a Human IVF Laboratory.

1. Volunteer Food Finders Internship

Feeding America, a non-profit organization, feeds America's hungry through its network of approximately 200 food banks and engages the country in the fight to end hunger. The methods used to collect the data are unlike any other hunger-focused study and capture detailed information about who is in need of emergency food assistance and their circumstances. The information provides an invaluable resource for charitable feeding organizations to help develop programs that best support people in need.

Duration: Volunteers are needed to collect data in the Food Finders area April-August 2013

The Purdue Ag Alumni Mentoring Program is a semester long program that pairs Ag Alumni members with College of Ag students. We currently are looking for students from all majors in the College of Ag, to participate this coming fall 2013 semester. Last fall and spring we had a combined total of 20 students participate. For the fall of 2013 and the spring of 2014 we would like to double our numbers. The Purdue Ag Alumni Mentoring Program wants to provide students with personal and career development opportunities. We also want to provide College of Ag students with resources to network and connect with Purdue Ag Alumni members. The mentoring program connects Purdue Ag Alumni and College of Ag students.

Students are welcome to attend a meeting on April 24th at 5:30 in AGAD 128 or contact Angela Abney at for more information.

2. Prima Tech Campus Ambassador Program

As designers, developers, and marketers of innovative pharmaceutical applicators, drenchers, injectors, and vaccinators for the food animal industry, Prima Tech USA is also dedicated to developing young professional. The 2013/2014 Campus Ambassador team will be the 4th year the program has been in place. Prima Tech ambassadors attend specialized training that prepares them to spend their school year marketing Prima Tech products on their campus and within the industry. In addition to having this fantastic opportunity to jump start your career in the animal industry, ambassadors are compensated with a $1,000 honorarium upon completion of the program.
