Internships/ Summer Work

1. ADDL Molecular Diagnostics Student Worker

We are in need of a student worker for the Molecular Diagnostics area of the ADDL. It is full time for the summer only. Hours are 8 to 5. Pay is probably minimum wage. We would like someone with lab experience if possible but most of the work is basic: cleaning, stocking, some paperwork and organizing.

2. Indiana State Egg Board Student Office Assistant

The Indiana State Egg Board is responsible for regulating the sale and commerce of shell eggs in Indiana. As a part of this authority, we license all retailers and wholesalers of shell eggs in the state and conduct routine inspections of those facilities.

Location: Purdue Poultry Building

Hours: 20/week

Benefits: $7.50/hour

3. Fall Animalia Internship

Are you passionate about animals, education, and the environment? Consider applying for a fall internship with Animalia! Whether part time or full time, you have the opportunity to gain some of the most in depth, hands-on experience with native, exotic, and domesticated animals, all while still taking classes. While these internships are unpaid, they offer students broad experience in a variety of animal topics.

4. Poultry Unit Animal Caretaker

Get animal experience close to campus this summer at Purdue's Poultry Unit which provides birds and eggs for research. There are three types of buildings for research located as ASREC: a caged layer house, a caged grower house, and two floor type management houses. Research is done on chickens, quail, ducks, and turkeys.
