2. Processing Supervisor Opportunities

2. OVPR Position

OVPR (Office of the Vice President for Research) needs a student animal caretaker who will work with mice, rats, chinchillas, rabbits, poultry, and some farm animals. Duties would include daily husbandry, cage cleaning, washing, and prep. They need a student to start as soon as possible and hopefully work into the school year. The student must be willing to work weekends.

1. AFA Food Institute

AFA (Agriculture Future of America) is excited to announce the newest AFA Leader Institute. The AFA Food Institute will be help in Chicago Feb. 9-11, 2014. This three-day program will provide interaction between students and food sector leaders, expose students to area processors, businesses, and other related service providers and include discussion and training to enhance student preparation to enter careers in the agriculture and food industry.
