Leadership Development

1. AFA Conference

AWESOME opportunity in leadership development

Each year, Agriculture Future of America (AFA) holds a conference in Kansas City during the first week of November and the first track is geared towards preparing students for careers in the agriculture and food industry. As a Freshman, you will be eligible to apply for this opportunity. Subsequent tracks help develop communication skills, flexibility in the workforce, critical thinking, team leadership, policy issues and mentoring by executives in the livestock industry.

I have listed AFA's website below that provides more detail about the program, however, there are a few points I would also like to highlight.
