The primary goal of this program is to introduce outstanding students to Purdue Extension as a potential career, and in turn, develop our own subset of new employees. Preference is given to college Juniors of Seniors who would be eligible for graduate school admission, or graduate students already enrolled. They will work to place interns in a location near their home (or campus if they are remaining local during the summer). Their desire is to place students in an office that will allow them to obtain a well-rounded Extension experience in all program areas, but prefer not to place them in their home county.
