2. Swine Farrow to Finish Job

A 275 sow farrow to finish production is looking to add to their staff which currently consists of Robert McClatchey, a Purdue ANSC grad 6 years ago, and Brent Waibel, a 1979 ANSC grad from the Hobe Jones era, who is also the Production Assistant. Feed grinding with a portable grinder/mixer is around half of the duties with the rest being everything associated with pig rearing.

Starting Compensation: $40,000

Benefits: 10 vacation days plus 4 holidays off and 32 weekends are off

Work Environment: You will work mostly along and in a family farm setting

1. Kennel Care Attendant

Klondike Kennels, a full service boarding and grooming facility, is hiring for the position of Kennel Attendant. Kennel Care Attendants are responsible for the proper husbandry care of all of our boarding animals, including both cats and dogs.

JBS United, Inc. is looking for a highly motivated, individual interested in participating in research projects in company-owned research facilities in Indiana during Summer of 2014. It is possible that this internship could lead to a career with JBS United or a swine production company upon graduation. Intern selection will be finalized by mid-December.

Location: Corporate Office in Sheridan, IN with frequent travel within 30 miles to provide oversight to research projects
