1. Senior Research Technician

This position will be in a neuroendocrine and biobehavioral laboratory in the Department of Medicine in the Indiana University School of Medicine. The candidate will conduct research aimed at identifying and characterizing new medications for the treatment of alcohol abuse and alcohol relapse. Studies involve assessing pharmacologic and neuroendocrine factors that influence the development of alcoholism using a rodent model of alcoholism.

4. AMVC Assistant Manager

A new AMVC-managed farm is looking for an Assistant Manager. The farm is a beautiful farm and a great place for a new grad to start out. They are looking for someone who is graduating in May (or has graduated) and is interested in Production Management. They have a great opportunity and might even have another opportunity as well if multiple students are interested. Internships/ Summer Work

1. Pet Sitter / Dog Walker

Personal Pet Care Assistant LLC is needing summer help to make visits to client homes to care for their pets while they are away from home. This includes mid-day dog walking and potty breaks during the week as well as pet sitting visits while the client is out of town. Dog sitting visits range from 2 visits per day to 3-4 visits per day, depending on client needs, between the hours of 7 AM and 10 PM. Cat sitting is typically 1-2 visits per day. Current clients exist in all parts of West Lafayette, East side Lafayette, and South side Lafayette. Pet visits and dog walks typically last 30-45 minutes in addition to travel time to/from the client's home.

Location: All over West Lafayette and Lafayette

Hours: Variable; includes early mornings, mid-day, afternoon, evening, and bedtime hours depending on client's needs; hours per week depend on your availability and volume of requests by clients; job assignment depends on your availability and willingness to work

Leadership Development

1. Service Learning Opportunity for an ANSC Student in Zambia

There is an opportunity for an Animal Sciences to travel to Zambia with a team of students and professors for about a week for a service learning project. Opportunity exists for converting the experience to an ANSC 493 credit.

Duration: June 9-20, 2014

Cost: $500 for the entire trip
