NATIONAL PET WEEK PHOTO CONTEST

"ANIMALS AND PEOPLE NEED EACH OTHER"

National Pet week is May 3-9, 1998. This year's theme was "Animals and People Need Each Other". In recognition of the importance of the animal/human relationship, the West Centeral Indiana Veterinary Medical Association, in coordination with the Purdue University Department of Animal Sciences and the School of Veterinary Medicine sponsored a photo contest. The winners are featured below, as well as a number of other great photo submissions. We all know that many kinds of animals and people need each other, so we're hoping to have even more variety in next year's contest!
