IBEP Search the Sale Catalog

You define the criteria for finding bulls in the sale catalog. The criteria you choose will be used for searching, while all others will be ignored. If you set several criteria, and set them too strictly, there will be fewer bulls meeting those criteria.

For EPDs and most performance information, you can set the number of *'s, which is the percentile ranking (in 10% groups) of the bull within his breed. *10* = top 10%, *9* = top 20%, and so on, with *2* = top 90% and *1* = bottom 10%. For performance information, rankings are within-breed for bulls in this test. For EPDs and $ Indexes, bulls are compared to non-parent EPDs from their respective breed associations; it is a ranking within the entire breed, not just bulls in this test.

Unless otherwise specified, the value you select or enter will be used as a minimum value - bulls with that value or higher will be found. Note that a 1 star ( * ) search for an EPD will find all bulls with that EPD; a 1 star search for performance traits will find all bulls.
