I am happy you are considering an internship. Internships will help you gain great work experience, network with industry, provide direction to your career plans and possibly lead to fulltime employment. Internships may also be completed for credit by talking with Dr. Diekman or me.

As an Animal Science student, you may take additional coursework in sales, agribusiness, biochemistry, biology, chemistry, nutrition and we encourage you to attend the Book Harmon seminars to strengthen your leadership, problem solving, and communication skills. Your strong Animal Science background with leadership skills acquired through extracurricular activities and participation in several internships will open many doors for you when you graduate.
