Block and Bridle is a livestock club concerned mainly with beef, horses, swine, and sheep.
First formed in 1917 as the Hoof and Horn Club, we became members of the National Organization of Block and Bridle in 1956, and officially changed our name to the Purdue University Chapter of Block and Bridle in the same year.
Any Purdue students may join, regardless of major or background. The goal of our organization is to provide Purdue students with an opportunity to improve their leadership skills and to gain greater exposure to the livestock industry.
Block and Bridle also gives students a chance to make new friends, and renew old friendships with people that share the same interests.
Becoming a member of Block and Bridle is easy. Visit our calendar to find out when the next meeting is or e-mail us at
